• Make sure to finish your descriptive writing so we can start recording Monday.
• Math test on Monday. 
• Sign up for an account on Khan Academy to practice your measurement concepts for Monday's test.

iPads in 7M

The iPads have landed and the students of 7M are taking full advantage of them. In Language Arts we have used them for literature circles using Edmodo, created character sketches using Popplet and have started our descriptive settings using Evernote and Voicethread. We have fully online notebooks for math and language through Evernote.

In Math we have used Geometry Pad + to create trapezoids, completed three part math lessons using Nu Annotate, and Google Docs and shared files using Dropbox. We even had our first fully online math quiz using Google Forms.

Many fun and exciting things are on the horizon with our iPads so stay tuned.

Measurement review: page46-47 all questions. If you have questions or concerns tomorrow please make sure to ask.

In the next few days we will be starting to use the Voicethread App for our descriptive settings. Take a look at the following two videos. they are also located in the Technology tips section of our blog.
