• Next week we start fractions in math. We will be ordering, adding, subtracting and multiplying fractions and relating them to real life experiences.

• In Language we will continue to read Iqbal and also finish our PSA's.

• Monday is our field trip to the play My Daughter Vera. If you have not brought in your purple consent form please do so Monday or you will be unable to attend.

Extension/Writing Activity:
Fatima is afraid of Karim but she also expresses understanding for the hard life he has had. Do you
think it’s possible to feel sympathy for someone you don’t even like? What does this tell you about
the character of Fatima? Is she a nice person?  Does she seem like someone
you would want as a friend? Why do you feel that way?
