1. In Chapter 17 Fang was methodically filling a backpack in a closet with supplies to go save Angel.
If you were to set off on a rescue mission to an unknown place for an unknown amount of time what supplies would you bring and why? They must fit into a back pack.

Maximum Ride Response
In chapter 12 we see the flock flying through the sky and hear how they love the feeling of flying? What are some ways that humans without wings or airborne vehicles can feel like they are flying Have you ever experienced a momentary feeling of flight?
Digital Detox
- After watching the video what are your thoughts and ideas?
- Do you think you could go with no cell phone/ Internet/ video games/computers/ tablets, etc for two weeks?
- What would you do with all of your extra time?
- What would a typical day look like in your life without these technologies?
- Would the world be a better place with out these technologies?
Digital Detox Assignment
- Research what kids your age did before there was iPads/Pods/Phones/Internet/video games, etc
- What games did they play? How did they spend their free time, how did they communicate with friends near and far?
- How did they research for school work? Do assignments.
- Create a poster on bristol board explaining your findings.
- A great resource might even be eating dinner with you tonight:)
