I think what Maria meant was thatalthough he was dead, she saw a bit of Iqbal in everyone . He had such an impact on everyone around him ,so strong that people started to take action for what they thought was unjust . He had left something behind his inspiration yo others . He left her being not afraid.
I think that in the letter, Maria didn't want to believe that Iqbal was dead because she had grown very close to him. She thought she kept seeing him in different places, at the door, the market, and she didn't want to think that a good person like Iqbal would be killed.
I don't think that Maria saw Iqball in those places. I think it was her missing him and not wanting to belive he was dead was the reason those people looked identical to Iqball. I also think that what Maria ment was that more people were standing up to their masters just like Iqball. Before Iqball had stood up for the childern no one bothered, now that he was world famous childern saw hope for themselves. They also might have wanted to help free the world of childern. Once something that is brave is done once more people want to do it, Knowing that there is hope and that it is not impossible.
What she meant was that she did not believe that Iqbal was dead and she thought that she saw him. She probably was having a hard time believing that he was dead and she still thought that Iqbal was still with them. She still felt his presents and so she believed that he was their. She probably did not want to lose hope in him.
I think she meant that more people that were brave and courageous like Iqbal started showing up everywhere maybe because, they heard of of Iqbal and now they are doing what Iqbal did.
I THINK THAT MARIA MEANT THAT IT WAS IQBAL ALL OVER AGAIN. THE KID THAT CAME TO THE DOOR SAID THE EXACT SAME WORDS AS IQBAL AND WORKED AT A CARPET FACTORY. ALSO, SHE MEANS THAT HE'LL NEVER REALLY DIE BECAUSE OF WHAT HE'S DONE. OTHER KIDS THAT ARE WORKING IN FACTORY'S WILL BE INSPIRED AND THEY WILL FINISH WHAT IQBAL STARTED.
I think she meant that she was actually lying to her because she knew that many "carpet mafias" wanted to kill him so she tried to lye to her to make her feel sure and secure, and she probably actually thought she saw Iqbal because she was missing him too much.
Hi, In my own opinion Maria ment that maybe Iqball's spirit has returned to save other children in labor. Also I can relate to this because in my religion people are born to make a diffrence, once they die they take rebirth as a diffrent form. So maybe he took a diffrent forms as diffrent children.
I think that Maria ment that scince Iqbal's death she can't stop thinking about him and that even though he is gone his memorie would last forever in there hearts.

In my opinion i think Maria meant that since she didn't believe that Iqbal was dead she would still see him around but she also misses him and everywhere she goes she sees him around. But i also do agree with Nick that she just missed him to much and every kid that came around she would imagine him as Iqbal, just because they have been inspired by Iqbal and how he did the children and adults a favor in bringing the families back together again. - Khuloud Ahmad
I think that Maria meant that she would never forget Iqbal and how he changed their lives and she would never believe that Iqbal died. Even though he really did Iqbal would always be in their hearts and she would never think that anyone would kill Iqbal.I also think that she meant when she kept seeing him everywhere was that she was seeing an illusion because she'll never forget Iqbal and he's not alive and maybe just maybe he came back to good bye to Fatima (in her head) because she thought everyone forgot about her. As being on of the latest to respond to the blog, I have agree with many of my classmates. I think Maria meant that she didn't want to believe Iqbal was dead. Just like Dhruvit said, they'd grown very close. And wherever Maria went, she would "see" Iqbal.

I think that Fatima meant was that she didn't belive that Iqbal was dead and she was imagining that Iqbal would just come to the door like what Iqbal did , ran away. Also that Maria can't let go of Iqbal because she was his freind and a person who took a stand, and made a diffrence.
