Late Homework Post

Sorry for the late post.
Math: Probability questions from the text book
LA: New Year's Resolutions are due Monday, classtime will be given tomorrow for this.

New Year's Resolution's

1. Answer the following questions.
  • What was great about 2013?
  • What do I need to change?
  • What is my resolution?
  • Why do I want to make this change? 
  • How will I make this change? Strategies.
  • What is my timeline? When I achieve this?
  • How will I know when I achieved my resolution?
  • What are the benefits to my New Years resolution? 
2. Create a one page typed essay about this topic.
Include
A catchy intro recapping 2013 and stating your resolution for 2014.
A body that includes paragraphs explaining the what, when, where, why and how.
A conclusion that makes a prediction as to whether or not you think you can achieve this goal.

I will be marking for content, creativity, conventions and paragraphing. Please take your time in editing and revising, your answering of the questions will be your prewriting.

BRRRRR!

Wow, I can't remember weather like this. I hope everyone is staying warm. I had a rough start to the day as both our cars wouldn't start. Luckily for me, my good friend Mr. Fink came and drove me to school.

I look forward to catching up with all my 7M students and hearing about your holiday break but Old Man Winter isn't co-operating. Don't worry if you have missed the last couple days as we haven't started any new topics or concepts.

Keep an eye on the news and remember to be safe in these balmy conditions. If you are travelling outside make sure to bundle up with lots of layers and don't leave any skin exposed.
