Remember

When working on your biographies remember your learning goals and success criteria. If you have all of these elements you should have an effective biography. Double check each when revising and editing.

Learning Goal: To write an effective biography.

Success Criteria:

1.Choose an interesting topic, make sure it is a story about someone's life (i.e., Michael Jordan) written by someone else (you).

2. Make sure it is written in the third person.

3. Follow a time line stating the past and present and future.

4. Include all factual information.

5. Have pictures with captions, explaining the pictures.

6. Make sure your grammar, conventions and spelling is correct.
