MEAGHAN MIKKELSON

Sport: Ice Hockey
Meaghan was only 13 when she saw Team Canada win the Olympic
silver in the Nagano 1998 Games. As she watched the TV, she started
dreaming that someday she would play at the Olympic Games. Years
of hard work and persistence paid off. She and her Team Canada
teammates skated off the ice in Vancouver as Olympic champions.
They will try for another gold in Sochi.
